I’ve always wanted a pack to call my own. I just didn’t expect to have to fight for my place in it.

Being raised in a pack, I grew up knowing exactly what I wanted. A place where I’d belong, where I’d be loved and safe. So the night I smack pasta-first into a tall, scowling alpha who smells like he could be mine, I think I’ve finally found my happily ever after. A pack of strong, devoted alphas and a life full of warmth and protection.

I should have known better.

Instead of a fairytale, I walk straight into a pack on the verge of falling apart. Landon, Ronan, Jasper, and Dash may be some of the biggest names in professional hockey, yet off the ice, they’re barely holding it together. Weighed down by old wounds, broken trust, and one very stubborn alpha who refuses to accept me, they aren’t ready for an omega. But that doesn’t mean I’m walking away.

When I’m not drowning in my own mess of feelings, I’m pouring everything into my work at Harbour of Hope, helping omegas who have nowhere else to turn. It’s fulfilling. It’s safe. Until the day it isn’t.

Until a new patient’s history brings danger to our door. The kind I can’t escape on my own.

And now, the pack that can barely stand each other has to figure out how to stand for me.
